| Pay Scale | Level-7 (Rs.44900-142400) in revised Pay Matrix. Group ‘B’ (Gazetted), GCS (Non-Ministerial). |
| Age | Not exceeding 30 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T Government Servant upto Five years as per instructions/orders issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants, please see relevant paras of the ‘Instructions and Additional Information to Candidates for Recruitment by Selection. Note- The eligibility criteria i.e. Age, Experience etc. will be counted as on 16.04.2020 as this vacancy was originally scheduled to be launched with vacancy details on 28.03.2020 with the closing date 16.04.2020. |
| Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent; (ii) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science of a recognized University/Institute or equivalent. Note: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing, in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. B. EXPERIENCE: Two years’ experience in a recognized Library or two years’ experience in computerization of a recognized library or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute or equivalent. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | Master’s Degree in Library Science of a recognized University / Institute or equivalent. |
