Post Description

Pay Scale   (Rs. 9300-34800/- (PB-2) plus Rs. 4600/-(Grade Pay) Revised Pay Matrix Rs. 44900-142400 /- (Level 07) Pay Rs. 44900 allowances as admissible.
Age   Not exceeding 30 years for General Candidates/EWS. 35 years for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Candidates as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/U.T. Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/orders issued by the Govt. of India from time to time.
Essential Qualification (s)   A. EDUCATIONAL
M.Sc. in microbiology from a recognized university or institute.
OR
M.Sc. in Botony with specialization in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Mycology from a recognized University or Institute
OR
M.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Soil Science or Agriculture Chemistry or Agronomy or Microbiology or Plant Pathology or Horticulture or Agricultural Extension from a recognized university or institute.

Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in case of candidates otherwise will qualified.
Note 2: The qualifications regarding experience are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission for reasons to be recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule recorded in writing in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes or Schedule Tribes, if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the post reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Ph.D. in any discipline mentioned in essential qualifications.
EXPERIENCE- Two years experience in the field of research and development of biofertilisers and other aspects of organic farming.

Duty(ies)   Testing of Biofertilisers, Organic Manures, Vermi-culture & different organic inputs in laboratory, Isolation and authentication of different strains of effective microorganisms related with organic farming, organisation of training programmes on organic farming, Organisation of field demonstration programmes on organic farming, Preparation of technical literature on organic farming, Registration of farmers on PGS Portal & Jaivik Kheti Portal.
Probation   Two years.
Headquarters   Ghaziabad or any of its Regional Centres located at Bangalore, Bhubneshwar, Imphal, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Panchkula, Patna, Gandhinagar & liable to serve anywhere in India.
Other Details   General Central Service, Group ‘B’, Gazetted. (Non-Ministerial).
The post is temporary but likely to continue indefinitely.
