Post Description

Pay Scale   Pay Level- 10
Age   Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 40 years for Scheduled Caste as on normal closing date in respect of the vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto five years as per instructions/order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. Essential Qualification (s)   A:- EDUCATIONAL
M.Sc in Physics with specialization in Electronics or B.E. / B. Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University.
B:- EXPERIENCE
Two years practical experience in production or development or quality assurance in Electronic & Communications equipments.


Note:- (i) The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Note:- (ii) The qualification(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, if any stage of selection, the Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from this community possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable Qualification (s)   Minimum six months certificate course in German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized institute.
Duty(ies)   Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items/stores. Technical evaluations, codifications, testing, inspection of equipments, systems/sub system pertaining to the relevant discipline and defect reports. Creation of test facilities. Interaction with the Industry and preparation of capacity/capability reports. Technical documentation and Administration of test labs.
Probation   Two years
Headquarters   New Delhi but liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad.
Other Details   Name of Service- Defence Quality Assurance Group A’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
Any Other Conditions   New Pension Scheme (NPS) will be applicable to all Government employees who will be appointed on or after 01 Jan 2004.
