| Age | Not exceeding 35 years as on normal closing date. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/ UT Government Servant upto 05 years as per instructions/ order issued by Govt. of India from time to time. For age concession applicable to some other categories of applicants. Please see relevant para of the “instructions and Additional Information to candidates for Recruitment by Selection.” |
| Essential Qualification (s) |
A. EDUCATIONAL:- B.E /B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Technology or Master degree in Chemistry from a recognized University. B. EXPERIENCE:- Two years’ practical experience in Production or Development or Quality Assurance in the field of Military Explosives. Note:- The qualification are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in case of candidates otherwise well qualified. |
| Desirable Qualification (s) | Minimum six months certificate course in German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language from a recognized institute. |
| Duty(ies) | Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items/stores. Technical evaluations, codifications, testing, inspection of equipment, systems/sub system pertaining to the relevant discipline and defect reports. Creation of test facilities. Interaction with the Industry and preparation of capacity/capability reports. Technical documentation and Administration of test labs. |

| Headquarters | New Delhi but liable to serve anywhere in India or abroad. |
| Other Details | Name of Service- Defence Quality Assurance Group A’ Gazetted (Non-Ministerial). The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. |
