Post Description

Pay Scale   For Director level post- Revised Pay as per 7th CPC Level-13 in the Pay Matrix. The gross salary per month would be Rs. 2,18,000/-(approx.) including Basic Pay, HRA, DA and TA. For Deputy Secretary level post- Revised Pay as per 7th CPC Level-12 in the Pay Matrix. The gross salary per month would be Rs. 1,43,000/- (approx.) including Basic Pay, HRA, DA and TA.
Age   For Director level post- Age not below 35 years and not exceeding 45 years as on closing date of receipt of applications. For Deputy Secretary level post- Age not below 32 years and not exceeding 40 years as on closing date of receipt of applications.
Essential Qualification (s)   For Director level post
A. EDUCATIONAL:-
Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
B. EXPERIENCE:-
10 years’ experience in Rural development (Social Sector) related work in managerial and supervisory capacity.
For Deputy Secretary level post
A. EDUCATIONAL:-
Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute.
B. EXPERIENCE:-
07 years’ experience in Rural development (Social Sector) related work in managerial and supervisory capacity.
Desirable Qualification (s)   i. Doctorate Degree.
ii. Experience in Rural Livelihoods Programme/Project.
Duty(ies)   1. Implementation of DAY-NRLM scheme in all States and UTs through SRLMs, including the following-
• Social inclusion and social mobilisation of rural poor women into Self Help Groups (SHGs).
• Training and Capacity Building activities for SHGs/SHG members.
• Financial inclusion of SHGs.
• Farm and Non-Farm Livelihoods activities for the mobilised groups/members.
2. Inter and Intra Ministerial coordination.
3. Administrative works related to the assigned tasks.
Tenure   The period of contract/deputation would be 3 years extendable upto a maximum of 5 years, depending upon performance and requirement.
Headquarters   New Delhi.
Other Details   The post is in Group ‘A’. Appointment of Candidate from Private Sector will be on contract basis as per terms of contract to be signed between the selected candidate and the Government of India. Officials of State/UT Admin/PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Statutory Organizations, Universities, Recognized Research Institutes would be appointed on deputation basis as per standard term of deputation.
Any Other Conditions   Central Government employees are not eligible to apply. 2. The candidate must have a minimum gross salary of Rs.15 lac per year for Deputy Secretary level post and Rs. 20 lac per year for Director level post during any of thefinancial year 2021-22 or 2022-23 as per Form-16/ITR. Note- In case of inability to submit the Form-16/ITR for theyear 2022-23 by the closing date, candidate has to submitan undertaking that the same will be submitted before thedate of interview. 3. All appointees are to be deemed as public servants for thepurpose of the CCS(Conduct) Rules and such otherstatutes as notified by the government from time to time. 4. The employment contract to be terminated by either sidewith a minimum notice period of 3 months. 5. Applicant who fulfils the eligibility conditions for the post of Director will be eligible for recommendation to the post of Director and applicant who fulfils the eligibility conditions for the post of Deputy Secretary will be eligible for recommendation to the post of Deputy Secretary.
